I knew the first week in the job would be exciting and a challenge, but I’ll admit – I do feel a bit out of shape and a bit naked here. New faces, many names, trying to pay attention to every detail, remembering, taking notes, shadowing and participating in project meetings…

Less than two weeks until starting new job, two festivals this weekend and Pogi Challenge in the mix. Looking forward to all four TBH, and trying to charge my batteries, literally and figuratively at the same time.

You know you’re getting old when you prioritize mowing grass before finishing up the newsletter episode on a Monday evening… Thirty-five soon; time flies. Besides finding excuses, I’m at least ageing consistently.

Picking my battles and the need for sleep won last night. Not the first time, definitely not the last – getting older ain’t that fun sometimes. Short episode last week, this one – not so much. And a bit all over the place.

A month and a few days. That’s the gap since Episode 18, and I’d love to tell you there’s a dramatic reason. There isn’t. Just several unfinished drafts, a few deleted ones, and a steady supply of excuses. Sitting in a coffee shop, pondering how I still can’t wrap this one up, feeling mildly guilty…

A short newsletter break during May 1st holidays turned out to an unscheduled three-and-a-half-week hiatus? Indeed. Instead of listing several excuses, I’ve prepared a rant.

This week, I’m skipping the circles of hell, despite some strong contenders. Maybe in a future episode. For now, the focus finally shifted to something long overdue: the website.

Every episode, there is a vicious battle between just ranting away and howling at the moon, or just reminiscing over the past week and finding those bright spots. Some weeks, they are really hard to find.

The photo exhibition last week was a major success. A short trip to Denmark followed – delicious and brief. Landed in Zagreb to 20+ degrees, only to wake up to a snowstorm the next morning. Summer tyres really enjoyed that. My calf decided to act up after a slow 4k treadmill run, while the Belgrade…
