The Kilchoman Land Rover with George and Catherine rolled through Slovenia as part of their 2026 European tour. Venka Vojo and KluBar hosted us in the brand-new space above the well-known bar in Kranj.
A lineup of five delicious Kilchoman drams, a proper dinner, and a live video call with the distillery is a time well spent in my book. Listening about life on Islay is better than just reading about it. Time for a visit? One day.

… and the special guest of the evening. The Mezcal Cask Tour Edition – aged in mezcal casks, combining agave smoke with classic Kilchoman peat, citrus, and spice. Unusual on paper, convincing in the glass, and even more tempting by the evening’s discount and previous dram effects. I had to buy a bottle.
