Božiček za en dan is a volunteer-run, non-profit initiative focused on the unseen work of giving. The sorting, checking, logistics, and delivery of gifts to socially endangered individuals who might otherwise be forgotten during the holidays. What began with a garage and a personal car has grown into a large operation involving warehouses, vans, and an extraordinary amount of volunteer effort.
The project has long outgrown the personal resources of those behind it, but not their commitment. Based at Zavod 364, they become Santa Clauses for one day each year, while spending the rest of the time working toward a future where projects like this wouldn’t be needed. I volunteered to document a small part of that work and I’m glad I did.

If this resonates with you, consider getting involved next year. Whether through volunteering, support, or simply spreading the word, every contribution matters.
More about the project and ways to help can be found at bozicekzaendan.si.
